Project 10 Pan - Update # 3

I'm super excited to make this post! I feel like I'm starting to see some serious progress and I'm almost done. I just might be able to finish this before the new year. Here is where I was at just a couple of weeks ago.

Below are the items that I finished before my last update.
MACBlush in Tenderling; ClarinsWater Comfort One-Step Cleanser with Peach Essential Water; MACMatchMaster foundation in 1.0; MaybellineInstant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer in Fair 110

I was so happy to finish this primer. I wasn't terrible, but it wasn't fantastic either. I can now move on to another primer to finish. I will not repurchase this as I have other primers I like better.
Dr. BrandtPores No More Primer
This powder was a nightmare. I absolutely hated it. When it started cracking and falling apart, I just tossed the excess broken bits in the garbage. I have no regrets. I will definitely not repurchase this.
Physician's FormulaMulti-Coloured Corrector in Green

Now for the products that I still need to work on. This eyeliner is almost done and I can't wait to move on. It just keeps getting smaller. The beige eyeshadow's pan is starting to come through more and more. I'm so bored of this eyeshadow and am definitely ready to move on. Hurry up and finish!
L'OrealHIP Studio Secrets Professional Intense Eyeliner in 320 Dark Sky; L'OrealWear Infinite Studio Secrets Professional Eyeshadow in 801 Sandy Shores

This body wash was just about the V the last time I updated. Now it's just above the A. I've only been using a small drop in my loofa because this stuff foams up like crazy. I'm going to start using this without the loofa to hopefully use it up quicker.

So this body lotion is actually just below the words "hand and body cream" but you can't really tell by this picture due to the residue. I've been keeping it at the side of my bed and it's helped me to use it more frequently.

And that's it. How are your project pans going?

November Empties

I know I've been slacking with updating but I promise I'm sticking to it. Here are my November Empties!

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

This is actually my favourite drug store powder. I already have a back-up so I don't plan on re-purchasing it again.

Baby Wipes
I use baby wipes instead of make-up wipes to save on cost. So far my favourite are the Pampers Baby Fresh so I won't be re-purchasing any of these. I do still have a few packs of the Pampers Kandoo as I bought a large pack of these refills on sale.

Clarins Instant Definition Mascara, Dior Diorshow Mascara in Blue, L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara
All three of these mascaras I used to the point of them being dried out and flaky. I will repurchase the L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in the future, once I clear through a few of the ones I have now.

Guerlain Concealer Duo in Light
These creamy concealer sticks came in yellow and skin tone to help counteract discoloration. They were great at covering things up, but a bit too heavy for my liking. I will not repurchase.

L'Oreal Linear Intense
This liner dried out pretty fast so I can't give it an accurate review. I did find the tip a bit longer and more flimsy than I would have liked. I will not repurchase.

Clarins Ever Matte foundation in 103
I actually really enjoyed this foundation. It was medium coverage and made my skin look super smooth. I have a ton of other foundations to work through right now, but I might come back to this one day.

Bioderma Atoderm lip balm
This lip balm took my FOREVER to finish. I used it twice daily for months. A little bit goes a long way with this product. It did a great job at keeping my lips hydrated and smooth without a waxy texture.

That's it for my November empties. I will be updating soon with my project pan progress. How did you do this month?

Project 10 Pan - Update #2

I know it's been a while since I've update but I've made some great progress since my last post.

I've really been neglecting my hand and body cream so I've decided to start keeping it beside my bed so that I hopefully remember to use it. As for the shower gel, I've made considerable progress considering I only pour a few drops on my loofa before using it. At my last update, the body wash was at the first "L" and now it's at the "V".

The next few items I've been working on and going strong. You can definitely see the progress. My eyeliner is considerably shorter, and you can definitely see a lot more pan on the beige eyeshadow. I've been bending out the air from the face primer, and I've got just under a third left. I will be so happy when it's done. Finally, I'm still working on this god forsaken green face powder. As you can tell, I've definitely been using it, but I'm debating just tossing it. What do you think? It leaves a green cast that I then need to cover with a regular powder.

And now for the most exciting part....drum roll please...

Here are the items I've finished!
MACBlush in Tenderling; ClarinsWater Comfort One-Step Cleanser with Peach Essential Water; MACMatchMaster foundation in 1.0; MaybellineInstant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer in Fair 110

I'm happy to see that I'm actually making some progress with these items and with any luck, I should be done by the end of the year.

Ideal Make-Up Collection Size

I'm on a mission to decrease the size of my collection and get rid of products I'm not thrilled with (and trying to be a tad more minimalist). In my last post, "What's In My Stash? Part 1: Make-Up Collection", I counted every product I currently have in my make-up collection. Needless to say, I won't be running out of anything soon. As you can see from the data below, there are some areas that I'm fairly happy with, and others that need a lot of work.

What's your ideal make-up collection size?
